With November already here let me remind you that now is not the time to look back on the year's fitness achievements, pat yourself on the back, and think you can now just coast your way to the new year! Coasters end up with spare tires, muffin tops, and bat wings before they even realized what happened! Coasters end up looking like jelly fish, feeling sluggish and lethargic, and fearing the Fit3D full body scanner more than the thought of electing our next President!
Instead, sit down, write out 2–3 fitness objectives for Nov/Dec, and determine to attack the gym with the tenacity you would if you were competing on Biggest Loser and were two weeks away from the finale. Here's an example of three tenacious goals: 1) Do 30 workouts during the months of Nov/Dec, 2) Eat 5 servings of vegetables every day, and 3) Lose two pounds between November 1st and January 1st!
